Great spot for a brief stop-in

Friendly staff, comfy beds, and a convenient location made our stay enjoyable. we particularly appreciated the extensive TV channels and the fantastic breakfast options at the nearby cafe.

Beware of smoke.

We had a fantastic time with the free drink vouchers and enjoyed some live music on the weekend. The casino was fun for the kids while I relaxed at the bar with friends. Just be aware, the shower was super powerful and a bit tricky to adjust, which made for some splashy moments! 🎶

We enjoyed our stay with our kids, especially at the casino where we found over 180 state-of-the-art slots to try. The pizza from the snack bar was a hit with the family, and we loved exploring the local shops just a short walk away.

My kids wished there was a pool to cool off in after our adventures. A small improvement would be to add more activities for families with children.

The room was spacious and impeccably clean, featuring a comfortable bed and excellent water pressure in the shower. The staff were attentive and efficient, especially when assisting with my meeting arrangements. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast at the Black Bear Diner, particularly the Shasta Omelet, which was delicious. I appreciate the convenience of having a diner on-site.

A downside was the smoky smell in the gambling area, and the room had limited sound insulation that could be bothersome for light sleepers. Despite these drawbacks, the stay was enjoyable and the amenities made it worthwhile.

I stayed for two nights in a Standard King Room Non Smoking. The room was spacious and spotless. Water pressure in the shower ranked high on my list. The staff at the front desk provided quick assistance for my meeting arrangements, which I appreciated. Breakfast at the Black Bear Diner impressed me. I ordered the Shasta Omelet, and it was delicious. On the downside, I had to walk through the casino area, which meant exposure to strong cigarette smoke. For someone with asthma, this was uncomfortable. The diner being on-site did help offset this a bit, but smoking in the casino makes it a less than ideal space for non-smokers. Overall, my experience was pleasant, but the smoke issue should be noted for those sensitive to it.

Location near the state capital makes it easy to explore local sites. Cigarette smoke fills the lobby and rooms. The Black Bear Diner offers decent meals with convenient access for late-night snacks. Expect noise from the casino areas and thin walls.
